A local
shelter put out a cry for help for this friendly 9 week young
tabby kitten.
Sydney needed
help! She had
a fractured femur head and needed
surgery. Unfortunately, the shelter was not able to hold her
there for the amount of time it would take to receive the
surgery, and for recovery.
MeoowzResQ asked the
shelter to
hold her while we tried
to raise money for her surgery.
We knew we had very little time, but had
faith in our fellow cat-lovers.
We got a quote from our veterinarian,
and found that the surgery costs about $600+. Dani,
a volunteer with MeoowzResQ started contacting everyone
to ask for donations.
And although we were asking for any amount that people could
donate,
even $5.00, we
had people donating $25, $50, $75 and even $100!
In only
THREE DAYS, we raised $605 plus the pull fee for this
young girl.
