One of MeoowzResQ fosters was in communication with a potential family for Donovan (Donny), a beautiful Siamese mix lynx point rescued cat.

The foster sent out the application, and the potential family completed it, and returned it immediately, along with a picture of their dog, whom would ultimately be a companion for Donny, if they took him home.

The foster mom took care of Donny's vaccinations, neuter, and all other care needed until the family could come and look at him.

The foster is still in communication with the family, sending pictures and letting them know that "Donny is an unsurpassable athlete and so smart this boy!"

The foster sets up a time for the family to come and meet Donny.

The family emails back to the MeoowzResQ's foster, "I think we'll be feeding Donny Natural Balance--some dry, but mostly canned. I looked closer at Royal Canin and I was unhappy to see quite a bit of by-products--corn and wheat and glutens in particular bother me. Anyway, I will read through the pdf files now. See you a bit later this morning!"

We love family's like this who love their kitties enough to give them the very best!

The family meets Donny, falls in love and takes him home! YAY!

MeoowzResQ's foster writes to Donny's new family, "How is Don Juan doing with his fabulous new family? Is he ruling the roost yet?

My husband's favorite pic is of Air Donny showing off his magnificent hunting skills! I'm sure you're loving him, he's also a cuddlebug despite his playful ways:)

Do you have any pics to share?"

The family quickly replies,

"Donny has been magnificent! I typed up an email but I must've forgot to send(had saved it to attach pics before sending). Anyway, he chases our puppy around like he's a puppy himself and sometimes sleeps with his head on our lil' Sisu. Right now he's going back and forth playing with one of her squeaky toys and begging for popcorn.

We've ordered some soft-paws for him, but after the first day or two, he's really calmed down with his claws. He has been settling in very well, exploring since day one. Today I recommended meoowzresq to a family looking for a kitten, we're just so happy with Donny I couldn't imagine not raving about it. Here's a couple of the (many) pics we've snapped so far."

See pictures to the left. Awwww...Another happy ending.
